This eco friendly card is totally unique, you will not find another the same. Everything used in its making was destined for the bin.

Parts of this card are approximately 40 years old, so it shows signs of a little wear and tear. My work comes with a history, I make no attempt to cover up the blemishes left by life. I consider it to be a little piece of art.

It is made from a 1970's Albuquerque postcard book (published by Pentley Studios Inc., Albuquerque, c1975) and the beautifully heavy American envelope in which the postcard book arrived.

All of the letters have been cut from old magazines and then sewn onto the vintage postcard and envelope.

The front of the card shows an aerial view of Old Town Albuquerque.

It measures 9.2cms x 9.3cms (when folded), and comes with a sewn upcycled envelope.

All of my work is numbered, this is 407.

It will arrive at your door in an eco-package, sewn from old magazines.

My husband and I became obsessed with Breaking Bad, and I couldn't get the characters out of my head once we reached the end.

"Buy the RV, we start tomorrow" is a quote from the first series. It made me laugh. It has become a regular quote in our house, when we are about to embark on something new.

I bought the Albuquerque postcard book on eBay (the ins and outs of this are recorded on my blog, alisonsye.com), and the envelope in which it arrived was so beautiful, that I was compelled to use it. Such a heavy weight card, and lots of lovely stamps.
