Inspired by the new Cotton and Steel basics fabric collection i wanted to try out some improvisational patchwork which would lend itself to a modern quilted wall hanging. The Echinacea print from the Pretty Potent range by Anna Maria Horner is a current favourite of mine and worked so well with the other fabrics.

Full description
This mini quilt has been pieced using a variety of cotton fabrics including some of the new Cotton and Steel fabric collection and Pretty Potent by Anna Maria Horner. It has been machine quilted and bound using a variety of coloured threads and features areas of matchstick quilting to create texture on the finished piece. The backing is Britten Nummer from Ikea featuring written numbers in grey on a white background.
It can be used as a wall hanging or small table decoration.
This mini quilt measures approx 14 x 14 inches
Minimal washing at a cool temperature is recommended to preserve the vivid colours of the quilt.
