The birth of coral is a natural wonder if not a miracle. The coral spawns all on the same night when the moon is in the right phase and the temperature of the sea water on the reef is optimum. The eggs are released from the surface of the coral parent and drift up in the current where they are fertilized and then drift off to form new coral colonies. This is a process that is older than history and one of the rarely appreciated rhythms of nature that underpins the survival on the human race on this planet. this necklace is a celebration of nature and all its glories.
