This agate pendant has very unusual markings. The burnt orange strips run vertically down the oval pendant and are covered with a green cracked effect. The pendant has been polished to a super smooth and shiny finish with a flat back and a slightly domed front. I have hung the pendant on a silver plated chain and bail. The chain is approximately 18” or 46cm in length. The pendant measures approximately 4.5cm in length and 3.5m in width.
The pendant will arrive to you in a presentation box.
Please be aware, colour settings between different computers may vary. This is a natural stone that has been polished, please look carefully on the photographs for imperfections such as nicks, chips or scratches.
Agate is found all over the world. It is a hard stone available in all colours, although green and blue are quite rare.
Agate is the mystical birthstone for September and is the birthstone for the Zodiac sign of Gemini. Agate is the accepted gemstone for the 12th and 14th wedding anniversaries.
Agate is believed to discern truth, accept circumstances, and is a powerful emotional healer. Legend says that Agate improves memory and concentration, increases stamina and encourages honesty. Agate is said to be particularly beneficial to people born under the sign of Gemini as it helps them to remain calm and focused.
