I am a great believer in recycling and have a variety of yarns that are only 1 or 2 ply and therefore difficult to use by themselves. By mixing a selection of yarns and knitting them together it creates a lovely fusion of colours. I initially intended the bag to be plain but then felt that it just needed a little decoration and so I added the Iris style flower motif.
