A while ago I gathered together a collection of exquisite Indonesian Batik and African Wax Print fabrics, and framed them as wall decorations for my home, as I felt they deserved to be admired in their own right as 'Decorative Art'.
They were so admired that I decided others might like them for their own home and so this collection was born. These stunning images look equally dramatic in any setting, be it minimalist, contemporary or traditional.
Wax prints are a traditional method of African fabric printing, and are very much a part of West African culture, often made from locally grown cotton. This striking print from Ghana has indigo, terracotta and yellow.
I have framed the fabric in a 20 x 16 inch neutral frame, with a broad white mount to enhance any interior. The frame is approx 1.25 ins deep and has a perspex cover, rather than glass, so is both lightweight and safe.
A lovely gift for you or someone special.
