Lion rampant greeting cards, printed from an original painting with a good quality white envelope and cellophane sleeve.

The Lion Rampant is generally seen as being related to Scotland and the Scots and is a symbol of strength, but the lion is also king of the beasts.

Printed onto 400gsm silk board, FSC approved from sustained (managed) forests.

All of my greetings cards are BLANK inside.

Heraldic Artist and Calligrapher in Glasgow.

I design and handpaint paint single or double initial letters in colour (or in 23c gold leaf or Palladium leaf for silver) for handmade Birthday or Wedding Anniversary gifts.

As well as handpainted letters, I also have fantasy animal cards, calligraphy placemats and a selection of calligraphy giclée art prints of sayings and quotes including a selection from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings..

I meet all sorts of heraldic animals and I thought it would be interesting to paint ten fabulous beasts and have them printed as good quality greetings cards which everyone could enjoy, and here is my Lion Rampant.

My love of heraldry is what prompted me to paint my fabulous beasts and I thought some people may just wish to buy one card instead of a pack of three. .

The cards are printed onto 400g silk board, FSC approved from sustained (managed) forests and all are BLANK inside.
