A reduction linocut depicting a hedgehog with a snail in the foreground (hiding in the bottom left corner!). This linocut is hand pressed, with Lawrence oil based printing inks on Zerkall paper and the image 185mm x 235mm. The first inking was done with the colours: brown for the tree and hedgehog and a mixture of Autumnal reds and oranges for the leaves. Then I used black for the detail. It is from an edition of 8 and is signed and titled. Prints are sent in cellophane protective packaging inside a board backed envelope. Postage and packing is free! UK Only.

Following my theme of British wildlife I thought it was about time I added a hedgehog. What an amazing design the hedgehog is; covered in quills you would think nothing would want to eat it! However, the birds in the top left corner are a reminder that the hedgehog could soon be someone else's lunch...
