Cat's pet Holly, is an original 4 colour screen print, hand printed using quality acrylic, paper and elbow grease.
I hand squeegie each print and carefully make sure each one has a tiny imperfection to make it unique!
Cat's pet Holly is inspired by the Audrey Hepburn film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' and Holly Golightly's relationship with CAT. The real cat's name from the film was Orangey, and he was a famous trained Hollywood cat!
I started thinking about Holly having a little marmalade cat when she was a girl and their friendship, how she would love to dress up as a cat herself, just like the cat mask she wears in the film.
But as anyone knows who has a cat, the cat always has the upper hand, and Cat thinks that Holly is his 'pet' and not the other way round!!
This happy duo are printed on 45x34cm quality heavy weight printing paper, with an image size of 40x29cm, numbered (Edition of 7 )
Your original screen print will arrive at your door in a re-sealable cellophane sleeve and sturdy cardboard packaging.
The artwork is copyright of Lisa Stubbs 2014. The copyright is not transferable with the sale of this print.
I hope this print makes you feel happy, positive and optimistic about everything around you! Thank you for looking!
