This absolutely unique whimsical necklace is for an exceptional woman (or man) who has a great courage and strong personality.
I could say that typewriter jewellery became quite popular, but I try to design unusual things.
Thanks to one of my clients I discovered typewriter print balls which were part of IBM Selectric Typewriter introduced in 60` but today they are totally forgotten. It used to be called "typeball" or "golf ball"
So this is recycled typewriter jewellery but in a very different, quirky shape.
The font ball is aluminium with a Bakelite element (and it is authentic!),
top part is huge (25 mm / 1") brushed ball/bead made of brushed metal in golden colour (this is only a shell, so it is not very heavy!)
Long metal chain (about 60 cm / 24" ) in brass / bronze colour with clasp.
Whole pendant about 4 cm / 1 1/2"
Chain about 70 cm / 28"
This can be a fantastic gift for a graphic designer, tech lover,
Also may be very unique gift for a funky writer.
No one would have the same necklace, cause typeballs are very, very rare now.
(and I have just a few, but with different fonts!)
The necklace is packaged in nice presentation box.
I am nostalgic person. I love vintage stuff. Thanks to one of my clients I discovered typewriter print balls which were part of IBM Selectric Typewriter introduced in 60` but today they are totally forgotten. It used to be called "typeball" or "golf ball"
