This is a beautiful colourful chicken doorstop. It would look lovely in lots of different settings both traditional farmhouse style but because of the funky colours it would look equally at home in a modern dwelling. The fabric used is a lovely heavy corduroy fabric in black, grey and white. He has been filled with a double sandbag containing approximately 1.5kg of fine sand to ensure he sits nice and firmly and is also sufficiently heavy to hold a door open. He has been handcrafted with the finishing to a very high standard. The funky chicken comes in his own jute drawstring 'gift' bag with my 'kraft' style logo tag attached creating a very rustic and natural look. The attention to detail and beautiful packaging makes this ideal for gift giving or just a lovely treat to spoil yourself!

My business idea was formed through an enjoyment of making doorstops and all other items came after these so doorstops hold a special place in my affections - especially owls and mice as these were my earliest creations. My doorstops are so exquisitely made they are both practical and beautiful - infact I have been surprised at how many I have sold to buyers who say they are not bothered about the fact I fill them with 1.5kg of sand as they just want them as a decoration!
