I have made a garden bug shelter, ideal for small insects such as ladybirds, spiders, grubs, etc.
It is made from recycled pine and has numerous holes drilled in it for the bugs to shelter in.
I have painted it red and black, the one shown is unvarnished although it might be wise to give the paint some protection from the elements if it going to be exposed to the wind & rain.
There are two big boggly eyes staring at you!
Please let me know if you would like yours varnished, I'll willingly do that if you wish, no extra cist.
I have recently supplied a local children's centre with some bug shelters, they are very popular.
These are ideal for young children to learn about nature and bug survival. I can make to order, if you would like more, please ask for a quote.
The shelter is about 9 1/2" in length and stands 6 1/2" tall.
I will supply a hook and string so that it can be hung in the garden.
If you are interested, I am also selling cubed bug shelter and have one in the form of a 3 1/12" dice, so it can be played with before being used as a shelter.
I have guessed the postal charges to the rest of the world, I will only charge the actual cost of postage, so I will refund any additional postal costs if they are actually cheaper (if you follow my meaning!)
