Item details

A framed quilled butterfly meadow picture. Each individual piece is made by rolling narrow lengths of coloured paper around a quilling tool before being shaped and the end glued into place. The finished pieces are then assembled onto a backing card to make a finished design.

Each butterfly is a different colour or colours, and I try to never make two exactly the same.

This item comes ready-framed in a white A4 frame.

If you would like a specific combination of colours in your picture, please let me know.

I make a variety of quilled items and this latest started as an idea for my daughter's bedroom. I am often inspired to make things for my children and this is just one of them!

Butterflies appeal both to my love of symmetry and colour - the brighter the better!
