A quirky selction of fishing fleet boats depicted on stoneware brooches
Everyone loves a trip to the seaside; ice creams and sandcastles; fish and chips for tea; and an evening stroll around the harbour admiring the local fishing fleet and picking your favourite seagull.
A quirky selection of working boats depicting a huge range of designs showing the boats in all their glory.
Each photo is one of my own, which has then been transferred onto the glazed piece in the final firing.

My dad lives in Hastings, which is one of the few beach based fishing fleets in the country. This means that you are able to walk among them and get the chance to really appreciate the scale and craftsmanship of the vessels. I love the variations of colours and flags on each one. Boats are always such a key element of visiting the seaside for me. Each of these boats has such a story to tell, with such history behind them.
Variations available - all except version 7.
