Inspired by small ceramic flower posy brooches that my Nanny used to wear (but which inevitably would end up with little chipped petals and leaves) and those adverts in the eighties where a dashing man would run up to a somewhat bemused lady and give her a bunch of flowers.... I've made these small brooches to add a dash of colour and floral charm for even the most over cast of days and the most shy of romantics.
They look beautiful on a coat lapel but look just as jaunty pinned to a hat brim or on the side of a beret.
An ideal gift for Mother's Day or Easter.... or that pretty girl (or boy) you see everyday at the bus stop with the nice smile.
