Cherry blossom ceramic coaster. Carefully painted cherry blossom on creamy white ceramic coaster.

I pressed cherry blossom twigs into soft clay, then cut with round tile cutter. After firing I carefully painted them with brown, green, white, pink and red underglaze, then fired them again.

They are easy to wipe clean and heat proof having been fired to 1060C/1940F.
Each one is unique.
Size: 9.5cm or 3 3/4 inches
They have strong silicon rubber feet to protect your surfaces or I can attach cork underneath if you prefer.

Contact me if you would like more coasters - as more can be made to order.
Also available with turquoise glaze.

This listing is for 1 coaster - similar to the ones photographed - but unique as I press real cherry twigs are into the clay.

My beautiful winter flowering cherry which flowers from November until April. The delicate but strong blossoms blowing in the breeze, brings Spring time to the darkest months!
