The owl has been drawn from life at an owl sanctuary in Suffolk at Stonham Barns. After visiting last year with my children, where we had the most wonderful afternoon seeing the owls really close up, with their amazing ears and deep colours in their feathers, I have been thinking about how to draw them and illustrate those fantastic ears!
