We have used three special pieces of blue beach glass to make this eye-catching necklace. The glass pieces have been chosen for their colour and shape so they go together beautifully. Because they have come from old poison or medicine bottles they are all curved, especially the paler blue ones. We have tumbled the glass so it is finely frosted and silky smooth.
The centre piece of glass of the necklace is 4.5 cm high. The necklace is 57 cm long (approx. 22 inches) including the silver plate trace chain. If you would prefer a shorter or longer necklace (up to 90 cm), please let us know the length you would like.
Our jewellery is made in Chudleigh, Devon, using materials we collect ourselves from local beaches. Each piece of glass is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique. Because our raw materials have spent time on the seashore our products may have small imperfections, which we think is part of the charm of beach glass jewellery. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth.
The necklace will be delivered by first class mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
