I love vintage images and was keen to use them to create something lovely for Christmas. The vintage lace has been kept in my stash for a long time waiting for the right project. The lace came from a friend’s Great Grandmother who loved to collect lace so it is quite special.

Vintage lace and a vintage image have been used to create this hanging decoration for your home at Christmas. I have appliquéd the vintage image of two children in the snow under an umbrella and stitched the vintage lace to some red organic linen. I have then embellished it with a lace poinsettia flower and three tiny yellow star buttons. To complete the decoration I have added two jingle bells and there is a red satin ribbon for hanging. The decoration has been lightly stuffed with polyester filling.
This is a quality handmade item that will enhance your home at Christmas, especially if you love vintage.
