The print is 7.5cm / 3" square, and the paper is approx 11.5cm / 4 1/2" square. It is printed in Naphthol Red Caligo safe wash relief printing ink, on Zerkall paper. Printed in an open un-numbered edition, each is unique in that each is hand-cut, hand-inked and hand-printed, resulting in minor variations. Each print is signed and dated.
It is unmatted/unmounted, and will be packed flat and posted in a reinforced envelope.
This is a linocut that I drew and carved on a sunny afternoon, from one of the pelargoniums on our windowsill. It was a single spontaneous line drawing that inspired me to try it as a linocut, and I've been quite pleased with the result! It's s ingle colour hand-printed linocut, so will be reprinted whenever I run out - this particular batch has been printed in Feb 2021, but the block was carved in 2013. Each run so far has been slightly different - different ink, different paper, slightly different colours. I have chosen not to number this run though as it's likely that I'll be using the same ink and paper for a while!
