This classic pixie beanie can be knitted in one solid colour or striped in any Double Knit yarn. The beanies in these photos are hand-knitted in double knit 100% cotton. This beanie is a good pattern for new knitters. It has easy to read detailed row by row instructions. Due to popular demand this pattern has instructions for both knitting flat on a pair of single pointed needles, and in the round on DPNs.

Sizes: newborn / 2-8 months / 9-24 months / 2-5 years
