I love the idea of combining the strong denim with the delicate embroidered textiles. A true combination of old and new in perfect harmony.
I inherited a beautiful hand embroidered tablecloth and napkins from my grandmother, which I use on high days and holidays. Of course I could never ever cut them up! However I really admired the time and workmanship that went into producing these fabulous textiles that end up in the back of a drawer. So I began to source other peoples unloved tablecloths and runners from charity shops so I could transform them guilt free!!
