I enjoy designing and creating unique pieces. I go through phases of creating jewellery pieces incorporating certain techniques, in this instance, wire wrapping, and seeing where my imagination will take me.
With this design, I wanted to create a pair of earrings with feminine lines that would stand apart from the norm, but also to create a wearable piece of beautiful jewellery.

Full description
This unique pair of earrings features African Amethyst gemstone beads in both rounds and faceted drops.
The faceted Amethyst drop or briolette cut gemstones have been used to create petals and the round stones have been incorporated into the centre of each wire wrapped flower.
The petals are a deeper shade of purple, with some banding in paler lilac - which is usual for African Amethyst gems. The round stones in the centre of each flower are banded and paler which adds a lovely, feminine contrast to the design.
The wire used in the earrings is 0.30mm diameter, fully annealed sterling silver wire.
The ear wires have been hand finished and polished. They have a hoop style hook fitment making them safe and comfortable to wear. They are stamped 925 for sterling silver.
The earrings measure 32mm in drop approx. and each flower measures 20mm in diameter approx. at their widest points.
These are a lovely design and will work well with any outfit.
