One Saturday in June, we walked trough Kenwood Park to Highgate. Whilst heading to the pub to grab refreshments we passed a bakery and collectively stopped to stare at the image that stayed ingrained in our minds forever, the biggest iced ring doughnut ever. After downing our drinks, we made our way back to the sight and joined the queue for the huge doughnut.
Few months further into a year, Emily compiled her list of ‘good stuff’ for a great night in: 3D film, fluffy marshmallow twirls and a Highgate doughnut.
I made a stencil for marshmallows and glasses, hand drew doughnut and we had lots of fun colouring them in for that fine grainy overlapping trace that only felt tips leave.
