I’ve created this necklace using pretty turquoise, blue glass and metal beads. I started by making the pendant, choosing a selection of beads that would make a nice rounded design. Starting with the centre bead, I worked my way around wiring them together using silver plated wire.

For the necklace part, I’ve chosen similar beads as used in the pendant, this time threading them on memory wire making it flexible and giving it a nice shape. I have decorated some of the beads with silver plated wire and also used this wire to create the long spiralled silver decorations seen throughout the necklace. I have then finished it off with a lobster clasp and loop fastening.

The necklace also comes with a pretty blue gift box making a lovely gift for someone special if not treating your self.

This necklace measures approx 50cm when undone
And has a drop of 22cm from clasp to bottom of pendant.

After trying my hand and some wired bead rings I decided to try something a bit more adventurous and have used some of the techniques i've learned from a beautiful book my husband bought me for Christmas.
