The inspiration for this piece came from my travelling around France during the summer of 2012. I wanted to create a range of jewellery based on France to remind me of how much I loved my holiday. I found a stall on the banks of the seine in Notre Dame in Paris which sold bags of french stamps. I love the purple hues in this stamp and how they are accentuated with the gold and silver from the mechanical parts. Looks stunning on a black background
