This is an original acrylic painting of an upland moorland landscape. Inspired by the Dark Peak area of the Peak District, there is (of course), a lovely gritstone escarpment looming moodily in the background. This area is world-renowned with climbers for it's gritstone edges including Burbage and Stanage, which are very popular for climbing and bouldering.
