The blue-tit bride can be made wearing either;
a floral halo with hand-cut felt flower/leaves in a colour to suit you scheme (in the pictures these are primrose yellow)
or
a traditional (lace) veil edged in hand-cut flowers or a birdcage style net veil as pictured.
The groom bird wears a flower 'buttonhole' and this too can be in a colour of your choice.
I think these make delightful cake-toppers for a woodland or country rustic themed wedding and would also make a sweet and unique gift!
As diminutive little birds each measures just 3" long and stands approx 3.5" tall.
Both birds are made from blue denim with felt detailing appropriate to this most charming of our native birds. In addition I have added some black stitch detail down the front of their yellow felt breast.
Both have black seedbead eyes and little felt beaks and each is firmly filled with polyester toy filling. They are made to confidently free-stand on legs formed from re-purposed copper wire.
