I have always loved to paint all wildlife and Brown Hares are very much a favorite, and sad to say becoming much scarcer in my part of Yorkshire. I usually only see them legging it away from me so to photograph one happily munching away at the edge of a field of grain is the ultimate inspiration to capture the moment in a painting.
