Elegant statement necklace of labradorite oval beads interspersed with tiny labradorite roundels and small matt fine silver beads from the Karen Hill Tribe in Thailand. The necklace sits around the collar bone at 53cm long, or 56 cm with the extension chain. Finished with a lobster clasp and a tiny silver and labradorite pendant at the back.

Labradorite is a wonderfully subtle stone - from some angles it looks plain grey, and then the light catches it and you see the flashes of gold, sky blue and turquoise in these striking long oval beads and tiny roundels. The Karen Hill tribe craftsmen make silver to a higher grade of purity than sterling silver, and these are slightly matt, setting off the labradorite to perfection.

In the language of crystal healing labradorite is a highly mystical and protective stone - a "bringer of light". It is supposed to stimulate the intuition and psychic gifts and give strength and perseverance during times of change.
