Buggles is a delightful 35cm tall fully jointed teddy and made from synthetic biscuit coloured fur, with chocolate brown fleece paw pads and a pink gingham bow around her neck. Made traditionally on a hand-turn Singer sewing machine with British brown glass eyes and nut and bolt joints, Buggles is not a toy and is unsuitable for children. Buggles has a Billy and Figgy tag across her paw and is number two of a limited edition of five, as stated on her custom neck tag. Her nose and mouth are hand embroidered, with puppy dog style ears. She also comes in her own custom printed Billy and Figgy bag.

Buggles takes her name from a family member and is limited to a maximum of five bears. I was inspired by the traditional bears I had seen as a child, although her arms are slightly shorter than a traditional German bear to make her appear more cuddly. Her facial features are designed to give her an “I need a hug” look; with a soft hand embroidered nose, puppy style ears and gentle brown eyes.
