230mm x 305mm mixed media collage, based around a corrugated cardboard stylised tree/hand-on-heart form -I like the idea of turning the card back into the tree it came from.

The tree shape is printed with a simple pattern in gold ink, and is defined with black acrylic paint.

The background is textured hardboard painted in strokes of greens, and is embellished with an explosion of found objects and trinkets from my collections -a save the birds button badge -inkeeping with the nature-friendly theme, a lonesome jigsaw piece, buttons, beads, gems, a cameo, a variety of charms including a wise owl, a letter 'L', a butterfly and a key to who knows where.

The main colours of the piece are green, browns and metallics, and I love the idea that when combined the objects create their own meanings.

The collage is strung to be wall hung.

As all my pieces are one offs, and therefore unreplaceable, all items will be mailed first class recorded delivery, requiring a signature to ensure safe arrival.

All purchases will be carefully packaged to protect their fragile nature.
