The dog ring was originally used in the R29 Renault F1 car driven by Fernando Alonso during the 2009 F1 season.

Unique F1 inspired clock.
Great unusual gift idea that you definitely won't find anywhere else!
Made using a race & test used 2009 Renault F1 gearbox dog ring (this is the part that allows the gears to change as the car accelerates), the centre is a high quality glass fronted Japanese made quartz controlled clock mechanism. Supplied in a black gift box with a laminated ID card that explains where the part is from and which drivers would of used it. Clock battery and the stand are also included.
A lovely example of an unusual machined F1 part that has now been given a new lease of life!
Measures approx 95mm in diameter (3.75"), another desk clock made from a simialr size dog ring can be seen in the final photo.
