Full description
This beautiful 3D stained glass Dragonfly piece, featuring Dragonflies made with a gorgeous green blue glass will look just beautiful in your home. The two Dragonflies appear to be having a bit of a rest on a patch of Bull Rushes standing in a little pool of bubbling water. The pool of water is made using a combination of blue and teal streaky stained glass, blue and clear glass nuggets and the heads of the rushes are mounted on silvered wire which allows for a little movement.
This piece would make a perfect as a gift for a loved one's birthday, an anniversary, or as an impromptu gift for someone who loves Dragonflies as much as I do.
Made using the Tiffany method each piece is individually hand cut and shaped, copper foil is applied to the edges, the initial soldering is done and the piece is soldered into sections. Then comes the wet bit as all these sections are washed, dried and polished. Next the complete piece is soldered together into the design you see, before a last wash to make sure it is clean.
Your beautiful stained glass Dragonfly piece will be handcrafted, just for you. As I am unable to replicate pieces exactly yours will be a one of a kind piece as close to the original design as I can make it. Please allow up to 7 days for yours to be created for you prior to posting.
The piece measures approximately 26cm from top to bottom, the base is about 10cm by 6cm and the wingspan of the two Dragonflies is about 10cm.
