Signed, stamped, hand numbered, limited edition and framed Giclee print of original illustration by Mark McPhelim.
As part of Glasgow's historic regeneration, we watched large, dominating multi-story flats take the place of the demolished tenements.
But - what we also remember was the wee, stubborn Glaswegian pub!
Against everything that was deemed new and progressive, the 'local' stood it's ground. The outcome was geometric, concrete monsters rising above but around a lasting memory and strong community base of the old Glasgow.
Bespoke framed, ready to hang.
Approximate framed size: 86cm x 62cm
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PIECE CAN ONLY BE DELIVERED WITHIN THE GLASGOW AREA. To ensure they arrive in perfect condition, I will deliver personally as part of the total cost.

Within the illustration, I hope you'll notice some Glaswegian terminology for bad weather representing the wind and rain! 'Dreich', "Bucketin doon', Peltin' and 'Lashing' are but some of the typography you'll find.
