Initial letter 'I' handpainted in turquoise with bluebells on high quality watercolor paper.

CUSTOM IDEA - Tell me if you'd like the letter in a darker blue or in green.

In Scotland, the harebell is known as the 'bluebell' but they are pale purple in color and here I've used turquoise (which actually belongs to the bluebell of the hyacinth family but I'm sure they won't mind!) Either way the bluebell represents fidelity and faithfulness.

Finished size is 120 x 120mm or 4 and 3/4 square including the mount.

I love the delicate little bluebell - in Scotland we call the 'harebell' a bluebell and here I've used some artistic licence in combining the two! These are closer to the shape of the harebell in form but I've painted them the turquoise of the bluebell,

Love seeing carpets of bluebells on a woodland floor. Such a wonderful sight bringing us from late Spring into early Summer.

Bluebells represent fidelity and faithfulness, Springtime and new beginnings.
