During my art degree I also did very detailed pencil drawings of people, and I wanted that almost realistic 'kitchen sink' feel for this portrait, but rendered in acrylic paint. Stan and Hilda Ogden are classic Corrie characters who will never be forgotten and I love them dearly. I hope that affection shows in this portrait.
