This original Tree Present bag has a sparkly snowflake patterned outer fabric in blue and silver with a lighter blue lining, trimmed with machine embroidery in a lighter blue thread. It drawstrings with a silver ribbon and a blue toggle. It is unique, and if each family member has their own bag, it can be reused every Christmas!

Size approx: 8 x 8 x 8cm (very dinky!)

Since I was little, my mother has practiced a wonderful tradition in our family: the 'Christmas Tree Present'.

Our family opens presents from Santa and the extended family in the morning after breakfast. Then we have the tradition Christmas dinner, afternoon films (adults excuse to snooze) or wintery walk (the menfolk's excuse to escape the women!).

After supper, we all open our 'Christmas Tree Present'. Everyone has a small present hanging on the tree with a special gift inside, a small piece of jewellery, cufflinks, miniature perfume etc. It's my mother's way of extending the anticipation of Christmas.

Inspired by this idea, I have created these miniature drawstring bags to hang on the Christmas Tree, hoping to spread my mother's very thoughtful tradition.
