Ideal for wrapping up in for late night study sessions too!\n\nThe traditional patchwork block design, dating back to the 1800s is called 'Log Cabin'. The strips of fabric that make up each of the blocks represent the log walls of a family home. Some are in bright colours to signify happy times shared together, while the paler 'logs' remind us of the tougher times that families share too.\n\nThis quilted throw measures 56 inches wide by 72 inches long (142cm x 182cm). The patchwork front and printed back are 100% cotton. Inside is a layer of quilters wadding made from recycled fibres - 70% cotton, 30% polyester. The backing fabric is a Lori Holt print and contains lots of 1930's style adverts and information related to farming.\n\nThe quilt can be machine washed on a gentle cycle.
