The border is made up of 9 rounds using various stitches and some mosaic crochet to form the little flowers running along. I've used James C Brett Croftland Aran for the beautiful range of rustic, earthy colours and texture. The finished blanket is 40\" x 48\" (with an option for smaller or larger size).  \n\nThe 35 page pattern uses UK terminology (if you would prefer US terminology, please message me), is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket.  \nSkill Level: Intermediate - a variety of stitches to make up the blanket and border, as well as colour changes - I've included full chart and written/picture instructions for the squares, as well as pictures for joining and each round of the border. There are stitch descriptions for less common stitches.  \n\nThe following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern: chain, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, double treble crochet, 2tr-cluster (with instructions), increase, dc2tog, back loop only\n\nRecommended Materials:\n- Yarn: I've made the Granny's Glade Blanket using James C Brett Croftland Aran (Aran/worsted weight yarn) - amounts and colour details in pattern\n- Hook: 5mm (H) crochet hook , with a 5.5mm (I) hook for some of the flower square and the border\n- Yarn needle\n- Scissors \n- (Optional) blocking mat, pins and garment steamer/iron\n\n(This pattern is for personal use only, not to be resold or rewritten in any way.
