These are the smallest of the placemats I offer, so will suit those whose tables aren't massive and don't wish the table to look cramped, but they are still of good size.  A set of four mats is also available to combine with this for a larger set. \nMy placemats are made from high quality materials, carefully chosen, and thoughtfully quilted to enhance and accentuate the fabric design and create texture and interest.  I do not buy fabric in bulk and, as many fabrics go out of print quite quickly most of my placemats will be available in only a very few sets, sometimes only one set, so are limited editions, not available anywhere else.  I absolutely love working with wonderful fabrics and giving them a sculptural quality through quilting, and I hope that passion shows in the finished work.\n\nAll outer fabrics are 100% cotton.  I use two layers of 80% cotton/ 20% polyester wadding inside to give the mats a good weight.  While the placemats protect tables from hot plates, they shouldn't be used for oven-to-table dishes straight from the oven, which may damage them and your table too.\n\nCare:  The placemats may be washed at 30 deg C and spin-dried, but please don't put them in a drier, and don't iron them.
