The small beads used to add detail and depth to the piece had already been through the kiln at a high temperature to create the little round shapes. The bee is carefully added using another premade small black bead and stringers, with transparent pale blue wings. This is all then fused together at a tack fuse leaving the piece slighted rounded but maintaining a tactile raised surface.
