I used real freshwater pearls hidden beneath the petals to create a subtle relief and 3D effect. Touches of gold leaf add a precious light to the composition. It is an artwork about respect, memory, and the people who help shape who we become.\n\nSize: 13x13 cm artwork in a 27x27x6 cm deep box frame.\n\nMaterials: Dried rose petals from France, Finnish birch, gold leaf, freshwater pearls, and eco-label acrylic.\n\nGlass: I used AR 92 anti-reflective glass.
