The head is a dichroic glass nugget I fused in my kiln. The surround is clear sparkle glass which has a super texture and shimmer.\r\n\r\nI've then framed the suncatcher with a prettily textured sky turquoise glass border with sky blue corners. \r\n\r\nI've added a twisted wire frame round the suncatcher for strength and neatness.\r\n\r\n It looks wonderful in the window with the sun casting the colours which change with the light,  It also makes a very pretty picture hanging on the wall.\r\n \r\nThe suncatcher is 14 cm top to bottom and formed from a 10 cm square.\r\nIt hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached on either side..\r\n\r\nI I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique.\r\n\r\nI also make this in other colours and also have a Butterfly in the same style.
