I have also pieced the back of this bedcover in coordinating cottons so the quilt can be used either way up.\n\nInside the quilt is a layer of Sew Simple EcoBlend wadding - a mix of recycled 70% cotton and 30% polyester fibres.\n\nI have machine stitched a traditional grid design across the whole quilt. This stabilises the three layers (front, wadding and back) as well as adding a beautiful, timeless texture to the quilt. The edge of the quilt is bound with a double layer of cotton fabric neatly hand stitched in place.\n\nThis quilt measures 76 inches square (193cm x 193cm).
