Every piece of confetti glass is completely individual and it is a challenging material to cut, which makes each butterfly a one of a kind creation. The colours scatter through the glass in a way that gives the wings a soft and lively character.\r\n\r\nThe finished butterfly has a small hook on the reverse and measures about eighteen centimetres in height including the antenna and about nineteen centimetres in width.\r\n\r\nThe piece is hand cut and crafted using the Tiffany foiled glass method. Each section of glass is edged with copper foil, soldered, cleaned and sometimes treated with a patina. Craft glass often contains tiny natural marks or variations which add to the individuality of the finished work. Colours are shown as faithfully as possible although screens may vary.\r\n\r\nPlease place and secure your glass in a safe position. If it falls it is likely to break.
