The secondary petals are made from translucent orange brown glass, adding warmth and gentle movement. A small piece of gold Van Gogh glass forms the beard, catching the light with a textured shimmer.\r\n\r\nThis particular piece has a slight loss of pigment in the main glass, so the price has been thoughtfully reduced. The colour variation does not affect its strength or structure, and it still displays beautifully when lit from behind.\r\n\r\nThe iris measures approximately 17cm tall by 11cm wide. Two hanging loops are soldered to the reverse, and it is recommended that both are used for secure display.\r\n\r\nEach element is hand cut and shaped using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. Every piece of glass is wrapped, soldered, cleaned, and polished by hand. Craft glass naturally carries tiny variations, swirls, and textures, making every iris completely unique.
