The main petals are cut from a deep, semi opaque iridescent glass that glows with warm golds and subtle rainbow flashes. The secondary petals are made from pale yellow wispy glass, adding softness and movement. A small piece of gold Van Gogh glass forms the beard, catching the light with a textured shimmer.  This is a Rowan Handmade original design.\r\n\r\nThe finished piece measures approximately 17cm tall by 11cm wide. Two discreet hanging loops are soldered to the reverse, and it is recommended that the iris is hung using both for secure display.\r\n\r\nEach element is hand cut and shaped using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. Every piece of glass is wrapped, soldered, cleaned, and polished by hand. Craft glass naturally carries tiny variations, swirls, and textures, making every iris completely unique.
