Sitting in the shredded paper nest, is a golden primitive chick, made from boiled wool, giving them a lovely textural appearance. Each chick sits on a vintage wooden cotton reel, which has been decorated with vintage quilt , button and twine, which means it can be displayed outside of the tin as a separate, stand alone piece. The tin also contains an Easter quilted egg, with tied jute string.\r\nThe vintage quilt used may have some signs of wear commensurate with its age, which only adds to the charm of the finished pieces.
