I have then used glass powders in various shades of green for the trees and grass along with a few tiny pieces of cranberry pink glass to give the look of wildflowers in the grass. The glass is fired at over 800 C in a digitally controlled kiln to fuse the design to the white glass. The finished glass piece has then been fired in the kiln again to allow the glass to slump into the dish shape. \r\n\r\nMy glass pieces are all individually handmade making each one unique, they may contain small bubbles and imperfections which add to the character of the piece.
